Colors and words .

Pictures tell stories and stories make pictures in the head. Take a look at my paintings and read the stories about them. Let yourself be taken into the process and be surprised what happens inside you as soon as you get involved with my pictures and stories. "

 

Katharina Buhrke has accepted the task of painting what she sees and reporting on it - in colors and words. The blog articles are extensive and shake the soul and spirit awake.

Artist statement

When this world was created, beauty was imprinted into it. In addition to the beauty pain moved into the neighborhood. To express it with Goethe's words – “art is the mediator of the unspeakable” - it tells stories of beauty and pain. A painting can speak to the depths of the soul, or to put it correctly, it is the soul that speaks to the painting, because art provokes the soul to reveal what is within it. In the end, art is just a reflection of something more significant, and those who love art, are on the search for it.
